Popular streamer Turner "Tfue" Tenney is demanding Twitch release Dr Disrespect's private messages with an underage user. Dr Disrespect (Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV) confirmed on June 25th that inappropriate conversations with a minor via Twitch Whispers in 2017 led to his 2020 ban.

The controversy ignited on June 21st when former Twitch employee Cody Conners alleged Dr Disrespect's ban stemmed from "sexting a minor." Following Dr Disrespect's admission of inappropriate conduct, prominent streamers like Nickmercs and TimTheTatman publicly distanced themselves.

Tfue's tweet, "Release the whispers," which garnered over 36,000 likes, echoes the sentiment of many demanding full transparency. The call for the chat logs' release aims to fully expose Dr Disrespect's actions.

Tfue's Call for Transparency

Tfue, a massively popular streamer across Kick, YouTube, and other platforms, retired from Twitch in June 2023 before returning to Kick in November. No stranger to controversy himself (facing past criticism for using a racial slur and shooting a wild hog on stream), Tfue's focus now lies on holding Dr Disrespect accountable.

Dr Disrespect's actions have resulted in significant backlash, including lost fan support, severed friendships within the streaming community, and the termination of sponsorships with Midnight Society and Turtle Beach. Further brand and celebrity disassociations are anticipated.

Despite this setback, Dr Disrespect intends to return to streaming after a prolonged break. While he plans a comeback, the damage to his reputation and future opportunities is substantial. His return may not see the same level of support or partnership offers.
