Jan 24,25

Dustbunny: Emotion to Plants, a charming new Android game, tackles significant personal issues with a gentle touch. Guided by Empathy, a friendly rabbit, players navigate their inner world, a sanctuary they design and personalize. Inspired by the creative director's experiences during the COVID-19 lockdown, this therapeutic sim blends cozy room decorating with a unique emotional journey.

Key Features of Dustbunny: Emotion to Plants:

The game begins in a serene, empty room. Players collect "emotibuns," small, shy creatures representing hidden emotions. Nurturing these emotibuns transforms them into beautiful plants, symbolizing inner growth and illuminating the player's sanctuary. The room gradually fills with diverse flora, including monsteras, philodendrons, alocasias, and even fantastical unicorn hybrids.

Numerous minigames and activities enhance the connection with the growing sanctuary. These include paper airplane flights, ramen flavor creation, and retro Game Boy gaming, providing energy and collectibles for plant care. Over 20 care cards offer various actions, such as watering, misting, and observation, utilizing a range of tools.

A Personal Journey with Social Connection:

The "Doors" feature allows players to personalize their door with symbols and stickers, reflecting their unique journey. Visiting other players' doors enables message sharing and mutual support.

Empathy's guidance incorporates compassion-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques, promoting self-care, self-acceptance, and self-love. Stickers and designs offer fun, calming ways to express thoughts and feelings.
