Elden Ring Hero Transitions To Shadow Boss

Elden Ring's famed "Let Me Solo Her" shifts focus from Malenia to Shadow of the Erdtree's challenging boss, Messmer the Impaler. Known for his impressive Malenia defeats, this YouTuber is now lending his expertise to players struggling with the DLC's mandatory boss fight.

Malenia, previously considered Elden Ring's toughest boss, has found a rival in Messmer. Many players find Messmer's difficulty even more frustrating due to the fight's mandatory nature within the story.

Following a "Final Malenia soloing stream," Let Me Solo Her (Klein Tsuboi online) has transitioned to assisting players with Messmer, even titling a recent video "Let me solo him." This follows his February announcement of potentially retiring from Malenia before the DLC's launch.

Maintaining his signature minimalist style – two katanas, a jar helmet, and a loincloth – Let Me Solo Her continues to deliver impressive damage output. His reported 6,000+ Malenia victories speak to his skill. His initial interest in Messmer stemmed from the DLC's anticipated difficulty, a sentiment echoed by some fans who found Shadow of the Erdtree excessively challenging.

In response to player criticism, FromSoftware issued a game update aiming to improve the DLC's overall difficulty. Bandai Namco also suggested leveling up the Scadutree Blessing to aid in defeating new bosses. However, for those still struggling, a co-op encounter with Let Me Solo Her offers a glimmer of hope in overcoming Messmer the Impaler.
