Elden Ring Nightreign: A Faster-Paced, Roguelike Expansion

A release date trailer for Elden Ring Nightreign has dropped, coinciding with the opening of pre-orders. Pre-ordering unlocks an exclusive in-game gesture, also obtainable through standard gameplay. The Deluxe Edition offers a substantial package including new playable characters and bosses, a digital artbook, and a mini-soundtrack.

Reviewers praise Nightreign's accelerated pace compared to its predecessor. The game integrates roguelike elements, demanding quick adaptation to shifting environments and encouraging unique character builds with each playthrough, significantly boosting replayability.

Bandai Namco advises that Deluxe Edition items will be released closer to Q4 2025. However, Nightreign is slated to receive ongoing content updates until at least the end of the year.

While emphasizing cooperative play, Bandai Namco confirms solo play is possible, without AI companions, or players can team up with others online.
