Epic Games Store Offers Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist for Free
Epic Games has delighted gamers once again by announcing that their free games program is shifting to a weekly schedule, moving away from the previous monthly offerings. This week, the Epic Games Store is giving away Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist at no cost. These freebies are available for grabs until March 27th, so make sure to claim them before the deadline. Interestingly, Epic is keeping the suspense alive by not revealing what's in store for next week.
Super Meat Boy Forever revives the intense platforming challenge fans loved in the original Super Meat Boy, but with a twist—it's now an auto-runner. This means the character moves automatically, and your focus shifts to executing perfectly timed jumps and attacks amidst a gauntlet of sawblades and deadly traps. The game retains the essence of precision that the series is known for, and it supports controllers for those who prefer them, though the touch controls are quite competent as well.
On the other side of the spectrum, Eastern Exorcist offers a more somber experience. This side-scrolling action RPG immerses players in a world steeped in Chinese and Japanese folklore, where you take on the role of an exorcist battling demons and otherworldly beings. The game stands out with its visually striking hand-drawn art, bringing to life its haunting atmosphere. The unique character designs and beautifully animated cut scenes are among its most compelling features. Both Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist can be downloaded from the Epic Games Store for Android.
There Are Other New Games Too
In addition to the free games, Epic Games is broadening its mobile game selection. Recent additions to both Android and iOS platforms include Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, MR RACER: Premium, The Forest Quartet, and The WereCleaner. Meanwhile, Android users can also enjoy exclusive titles such as Bowling Clash, Endling – Extinction is Forever, Chicken Police – Paint it RED, One Hand Clapping, Neighbours Back From Hell, This is The Police, This is The Police 2, This is The President, and Through the Darkest of Times.
Before you go, don't miss out on our latest coverage of Alcyone: The Last City, an upcoming sci-fi visual novel that promises multiple endings to keep you engaged.
