"Event Horizon: Dark Descent - Long-Awaited Movie Prequel Released"
Nearly three decades after its initial release, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic, *Event Horizon*, is set to expand its universe with a new prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a gripping five-issue comic book series that delves into the chilling events preceding the film. This series promises to unveil the harrowing fate of the original crew aboard the Event Horizon ship.
Crafted by the talented team of writer Christian Ward, known for *Batman: City of Madness*, and artist Tristan Jones, acclaimed for *Aliens: Defiance*, *Dark Descent* is set to captivate fans. The series will feature vibrant colors by Pip Martin of *That Texas Blood* fame, and stunning cover art by Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
