Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Blooms: January 28th

Botany Manor, the critically acclaimed puzzle game, will finally sprout onto PlayStation consoles on January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release on PS4 and PS5, the game was delayed to allow for additional polish and optimization.

Originally launched in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered praise for its charming aesthetic, clever puzzles, and relaxing gameplay. The PlayStation port, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, faced a setback just before its initial December launch, but the new January date confirms its arrival.

While the game's PS Store page remains absent, pre-ordering may not be an option yet. The PlayStation version is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of other platforms, offering a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store, mirroring its absence from the Switch and Xbox versions.

A Welcome Addition to PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup

Botany Manor's strong reception, boasting an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic, positions it as a compelling addition to the PlayStation's growing puzzle game library. Its cozy atmosphere and engaging gameplay have already charmed critics and players alike.

With the PlayStation port's release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Developer Balloon Studios hasn't yet revealed their next project, but the January 28th launch will see Botany Manor join other notable titles like Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness on the PlayStation Store.
