Nintendo enthusiasts on the West Coast have a new reason to celebrate as the company opens its second official store in the United States today, May 15. Located in Union Square at 331 Powell Street, the San Francisco store marks Nintendo's first venture into a retail space on the West Coast. This follows the success of their New York location, which was previously known as the Nintendo World Store. After undergoing renovations and rebranding, it reopened as Nintendo NY in 2016.
