Explore Spider-Woman's Origins in New Marvel Contest of Champions Update
Marvel Contest of Champions is gearing up for an exhilarating April, introducing the highly anticipated champion, Spider-Woman. Alongside her, another champion with a contrasting vibe, Lumatrix, will make an appearance, adding diversity to the game's roster.
The Backstory of Spider-Woman in the World of Marvel Contest of Champions
Spider-Woman, known as Jessica Drew, had a challenging start. Exposed to uranium as a child, she fell seriously ill. Her father, a brilliant geneticist, attempted to save her by injecting her with a blend of spider DNA. After a long recovery, Jessica not only overcame the experiment's negative effects but also gained spider powers, eventually becoming Spider-Woman. You can add this new champion to your roster in MCOC starting April 17th.
Before Spider-Woman's arrival, another champion, Lumatrix, will join the fray on April 9th. Designed by the Founders as a top-tier assassin, Lumatrix uses his dazzling light-based powers to infiltrate and eliminate targets with precision.
What Else Is New?
On the narrative front, Act 9 Chapter 2, titled "Inquisition," unfolds with Carina gravely injured after an encounter with Ouroborus forces. Meanwhile, Doctor Doom allies with the Fantastic Four to combat the spreading Chronoserpent corruption. A new villain, Lotan, also emerges on the scene.
A new Event Quest, "Spy Games," kicks off on April 9th and runs until May 7th. Black Widow enlists Spider-Woman to delve into the enigma of the Eidols, promising an intriguing storyline.
Dark Phoenix returns in the Side Quest with "Dark Bounties," placing bounties on various Champions. Players can hunt them down to claim their rewards, adding an exciting twist to gameplay.
The "Incursions: Dark Phoenix Saga Sector" makes a comeback, challenging players to assemble their strongest Saga champions. Completing this sector can earn you Dark Plumes, Light Essence, Tier 7 Basic Fragments, and 7-Star Class Signature Stones.
There's much more to explore in MCOC, including the "Heart of Fire Sale." Don't miss out on these opportunities—download the game from the Google Play Store to experience all the action.
