Rebel Wolves, headed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, previously director of The Witcher 3 and co-director of Cyberpunk 2077, has announced its new dark fantasy action-RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, set for release in 2026.

During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, Rebel Wolves unveiled pre-beta gameplay footage featuring Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker—human by day, vampire by night—as he adapts to his newfound powers.

More details are coming soon. On June 21, Rebel Wolves will host a 45-minute event on the summer solstice, where the boundary between day and night fades, promising surprising reveals. The event will showcase 15 minutes of fresh gameplay with in-depth developer commentary.

The presentation will also highlight key gameplay elements, such as a directional combat system combining swordplay, magic, and vampiric abilities, alongside exploration of Vale Sangora’s diverse locations. It will emphasize how day and night cycles influence the story and gameplay dynamics.

“It’s thrilling to share more of the game with you, and I’m grateful for our community’s amazing support,” said Tomaszkiewicz. “When we first announced the game in January, we committed to revealing more gameplay this summer, and that time has come.

“Join us on June 21 for our Gameplay Reveal Event, where you’ll discover more about Coen’s abilities as a Dawnwalker, a enigmatic figure straddling the worlds of day and night.”

In The Blood of Dawnwalker, you control Coen, a young man caught between humanity and vampirism. With only 30 days and nights to save his family or seek vengeance on his creator, Coen faces a dire choice: sacrifice his humanity to protect those he loves.
