Floatopia Is Coming To Android, And It Has Strong Animal Crossing Energy
NetEase Games unveiled their charming life sim, Floatopia, at Gamescom, promising a multi-platform release, including Android, sometime in 2025. This whimsical game features a world of floating islands and quirky characters with unique superpowers.
A Cute Apocalypse
The game's premise involves a unique apocalypse: a world of fragmented lands suspended in the sky, inhabited by individuals with varying degrees of supernatural abilities. Some powers are spectacular, while others are… less so. Players will discover that even seemingly insignificant abilities can hold surprising potential.
Island Life with a Twist
As the Island Manager, you'll engage in familiar life sim activities: farming, fishing (in the clouds!), and decorating your airborne home. But the floating island aspect adds a new dimension, allowing for exploration of exotic locations and meeting diverse characters.
Socialize or Solo
Floatopia offers both social and solitary gameplay options. Share adventures, host island parties, and showcase your creations to friends, or enjoy the peaceful solitude of island life. Multiplayer is entirely optional.
