Pokémon GO enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting new event—the Beloved Buddies event is set to enhance your gaming experience with surprise debuts, bonuses, and thrilling raids. This event is all about deepening your connections with your Pokémon, and it's coming soon to Pokémon GO.
When Is the Beloved Buddies Event Kicking Off in Pokémon GO?
Mark your calendars for February 11th to February 15th. During this period, you'll have the chance to strengthen your bonds with your Pokémon. A highlight of the event is the debut of Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon, which you can add to your collection and challenge in raids.
The event is packed with enticing bonuses. Catching Pokémon during Beloved Buddies will reward you with double XP, and Lure Modules will last an impressive full hour. These Lures will attract a diverse mix of Pokémon, including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. As an added perk, capturing any of these Pokémon will earn you an extra 500 Stardust per catch.
You can expect a robust lineup of wild Pokémon appearing more frequently during the event. Keep an eye out for Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce, which will be more common. Other Pokémon you'll encounter more often include Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.
Raids during the Beloved Buddies event will offer a variety of challenges, ranging from one-star to mega battles. In one-star raids, you'll face Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp, with Skrelp boasting an increased shiny rate. Three-star raids will feature Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise.
For those looking for a bigger challenge, five-star raids will include Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), while Mega Raids will introduce the formidable Mega Tyranitar. So, make sure to check out Pokémon GO on the Google Play Store and dive into the Beloved Buddies event once it goes live.
