Fortnite Adds a Highly Requested Feature
In the latest update for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, players can now use Fortnite Festival's instruments as both pickaxes and back blings, adding a new layer of customization to the game. This exciting feature, which has been met with overwhelmingly positive feedback, can be easily accessed in the locker by selecting the "instruments" option. This update has transformed instruments that were previously exclusive to back blings and pickaxes, allowing them to be used within Fortnite Festival as well. This highly requested feature has delighted many Fortnite enthusiasts, enhancing their gaming experience.
Fortnite's latest season has introduced a variety of new additions, including the Ballistic, LEGO Fortnite: Brick Life, and Fortnite OG modes, all of which were added in December 2024. Fortnite Festival, a major mode within the game, has been likened to the beloved Guitar Hero franchise, where players use various instruments to play through songs. The Item Shop offers licensed music and instrument cosmetics, and the recent addition of local co-op has further enriched the mode. To promote Fortnite Festival, Epic Games has collaborated with renowned artists such as Snoop Dogg, Metallica, and Lady Gaga.
Epic Games has surprised fans by allowing Fortnite Festival instruments to be used in the battle royale mode. Players can now select microphones, guitars, and other instruments as back blings and pickaxes. An instrument can serve as both a pickaxe and a back bling; when used as a pickaxe, it disappears from the character's back and reappears when the player switches to another item or weapon. This update also features a significant crossover with Hatsune Miku, introducing multiple new outfits and instruments to the game.
In addition to the instrument feature, the latest update includes new cosmetics from the collaboration between Fortnite and Godzilla. Fans of the iconic monster can choose between pink and blue edit styles and unlock various accessories, such as a wrap, harvester, glider, and more, by completing battle pass challenges. With such a wealth of new content, Fortnite's latest update has sparked excitement among players, offering a fresh and engaging experience.
