Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077 lore expert and decision-maker, clarified the choice. The bundle was limited to two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already male, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.
