Fortnite Moments: Access & Usage Guide

Mar 14,25

The buzz around a new *Fortnite* season usually centers on map changes. But Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless, introduces a fun new feature: *Fortnite* Moments. Let's dive into how to get and use them.

What Are Fortnite Moments?

After the big update, you'll find a new addition in the main menu: Moments. These let you customize your Battle Royale experience by adding music to your matches, playing in the background after you jump from the Battle Bus and, even better, after securing a Victory Royale. The best part? You choose the tunes from your music library.

To personalize your Battle Royale soundtrack, go to the Locker tab in the main menu and scroll down to the Moments section. You'll find options for Intro Music (playing as you exit the Battle Bus) and Celebration Music (for those Victory Royales). Select a Moment, and your Jam Tracks library will appear. Browse and choose the perfect songs to set the mood for your matches.

How To Get Fortnite Moments

If your library lacks the perfect track, head to the Item Shop's "Take Your Stage" section. There are over 300 Jam Tracks available, featuring artists like Metallica, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, and Kendrick Lamar.

Each song costs 500 V-Bucks (approximately $4.50). For better value, consider the Music Pass, which includes multiple Jam Tracks, instruments, and accessories. While the current Icon is Hatsune Miku, the Pass also features songs from artists like Jennifer Lopez and CAKE.

Alternatively, you can stick with the in-game radio, but where's the fun in that?

That's how to get and use Fortnite Moments! For more, check out the rumored collaborations for the Lawless season.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
