Fortnite Reload’s upcoming update delivers a thrilling twist. Starting in just days, players will dive into Squid Grounds, a gripping map inspired by the Squid Game universe. The iconic Red Light, Green Light transforms into a dynamic in-game challenge. From eerie playgrounds to claustrophobic mazes, this map blends chaos, close-quarters combat, and tense anticipation before the next shot rings out.

From June 27 through June 30, Squid Grounds becomes the sole map in Fortnite Reload, temporarily replacing Oasis. Expect intense duels and a survival-driven vibe woven into Reload’s core gameplay. The loot pool grows with additions like the Red-Eye Submachine Gun, an Uncommon Boogie Bomb, and Itemised Glider Redeploy for strategic plays.

On June 27, a full Ranked Reset will refresh both Reload and Zero Build modes. Your rank recalibrates after a single match in each mode, reflecting your current skill level. This reset offers a clean slate for climbing the leaderboard. New players must still outlast 500 opponents to unlock Ranked mode access.

For early action, the Squid Grounds Cup starts June 25 as a Duos Fill tournament on Slurp Rush. Top performers in each region can unlock the exclusive Games Guard Outfit before its shop release.
