Free Fire unveils Winterlands: Aurora event for festive season
Free Fire has embraced the winter season with its highly anticipated Winterlands 2024 update, introducing exciting new features and content. Leading the charge is Koda, a unique character hailing from the Arctic, who wears a mystical fox mask enhancing his senses and abilities. His standout ability, Aurora Vision, allows players to detect enemies hiding behind cover—provided they're not crouched or prone—and highlights enemy positions during parachute drops.
Another thrilling addition is the Frosty Tracks, icy pathways that crisscross the map, enabling fast traversal while allowing players to shoot, turn, and even throw items mid-motion. Along these tracks, special Coin Machines offer a generous reward of 100 FF coins, collectible while gliding. These tracks are available in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.
The update doesn’t stop there. Aurora-themed events are now live across both game modes. In Battle Royale, aurora-affected Coin Machines and in Clash Squad, aurora-affected Supply Gadgets provide buffs to teammates upon interaction. These quests ensure players stay ahead of the competition.
