"Freedom Wars Remastered: Boost Your Arsenal with These Combat Item Sources"
Quick Links
In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is key to success. While your weapons and Thrones might not change frequently, Combat Items are essential consumables with a variety of uses, and they're finite resources. You'll receive some Combat Items as rewards for completing operations, but often not enough to fully stock up for your next mission. At the start, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time. Here's how you can overcome these limitations.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you'll need to acquire the right Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section and move to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit below this will allow you to equip up to a total of four Combat Items.
These story-based Entitlements become available quickly, and you can purchase all four permits by the time you reach CODE level 3. Note that later permits will only appear after you've purchased the previous one. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to your entire stack at the start of an Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can equip one Combat Item, which can be used at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress through the main story beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock access to The Warren, a HUB area. Here, you'll find a store called Zakka on the upper story along the right side. Besides weapons, Zakka offers a "Buy Items" option, which includes Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions - These are items that directly damage enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies - These include items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.
Combat Items are sold individually, and purchasing large quantities can be costly in terms of Entitlement Points. If you need a lot of Medkits, consider donating old resources to gather the necessary points. While Operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, this method isn't reliable for farming due to the time required and the risk of using more items than you gain.
