The arrival was initially teased in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, sparking player speculation. The event itself offers a wealth of activities:

• New Pokémon: Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight make their Pokémon GO debut.
• Special Research: A new Dual Destiny Special Research storyline with unique rewards.
• Field Research: New tasks offering various in-game rewards.
• Shiny Pokémon: Increased chances to encounter shiny versions of several Pokémon, including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Mareanie.
• Increased Spawns: Boosted spawn rates for ten Pokémon, including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Carbink.
• Bonuses: Magnetic Lure Modules will attract Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, and Rookidee. Charged TMs can remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
