The Game Awards 2024: A Look at the Nominees and Where to Watch
Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards 2024 has unveiled its nominees across 19 competitive categories, culminating in the coveted Game of the Year (GOTY) award. This year's GOTY race is particularly fierce, featuring a diverse lineup of titles.
GOTY 2024 Contenders:
The GOTY nominees represent a broad spectrum of gaming experiences. Leading the pack with seven nominations is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Competing for the top prize are Astro Bot, the indie sensation Balatro, the critically acclaimed Black Myth: Wukong, the highly anticipated Metaphor: ReFantazio, and the controversial Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Voting and the Award Ceremony:
Fans can cast their votes for their favorite games on The Game Awards' official website and Discord server until December 11th. The winners will be revealed during the live ceremony on December 12th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event will be streamed live on The Game Awards website, Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
