New Game Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, the Sequel to Oceanhorn 2, Announced
FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. have exciting news for fans of the Oceanhorn series: a new game titled Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is on the horizon, set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam in the second quarter of 2025. This installment takes place 200 years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm and promises to bring a fresh twist to the beloved series.
What’s the Story in New Game Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon?
Forget about navigating the high seas; in Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, you're tasked with exploring the perilous depths of an underground labyrinth. This game shifts the series into a retro-style dungeon crawler adventure.
The setting is a troubled world of Gaia, where the once-mighty Kingdom of Arcadia has fragmented into a series of isolated islands, and the legendary White City has faded into legend. Yet, hope persists through four determined adventurers who aim to delve into the mysterious Chronos Dungeon. Their goal? To retrieve the Paradigm Hourglass, an artifact rumored to have the power to alter history itself. Should they overcome the dungeon's dangers, they may just restore the world to its past glory.

What About the Features?
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon embraces a classic dungeon crawler format, infused with a nostalgic 16-bit arcade aesthetic. Designed for couch co-op, it supports up to four players teaming up for cooperative gameplay. Solo players can control all four heroes or switch between them as needed, facing a variety of challenges along the way.
Adding a unique twist, each hero's starting stats are influenced by their zodiac signs, ensuring that no two playthroughs are identical. The game offers four distinct playable characters: the Knight, the Huntress, the Grandmaster, and the Mage.
Complementing the pixel art visuals, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon features a chiptune-inspired soundtrack and embraces several old-school arcade elements, enhancing the retro gaming experience.
The Steam page for Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is now live, offering more details about FDG's latest venture into the Oceanhorn universe. Be sure to visit it for more information.
