For all you *Genshin Impact* fans playing on Android, the wait for controller support is finally coming to an end. The much-anticipated feature is set to roll out with Version 5.5, marking a significant update especially since iOS users have enjoyed this functionality since 2021.

When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?

Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, when you'll be able to dive into the world of Teyvat using your favorite controller. This update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all these require Bluetooth connectivity for seamless gameplay.

Alongside controller support, Version 5.5 is packed with quality-of-life enhancements. One of the highlights is cross-scene quest tracking, allowing you to monitor your quests across different regions effortlessly. Simply open the map, and teleport directly to your quest's next location.

New players will benefit from updated boss guides that delve deeper into enemy mechanics, helping you strategize better. Moreover, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all set for optimizations. While we await the full details, these updates will be unveiled during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
