Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst

Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure centered around yokai, with Yae Miko playing a prominent role.

Mizuki, rumored since late 2024, has been confirmed as a Standard Banner character. This 5-Star Anemo Catalyst wields a playstyle comparable to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. While Sucrose might excel in specific situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset to most Taser teams.

Initially revealed later than anticipated via Twitter, Mizuki's drip marketing unveiled her dual identity as a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with the Version 5.4 Flagship Event. A dedicated Story Quest will also accompany her release.

Version 5.4 presents a more concise update compared to the content-rich Version 5.3. It features only one new character, a single Story Quest, and no new map or Artifact Domain, resulting in a lower-than-average Primogem yield. Players are advised to conserve their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to obtain highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
