Goat Simulator 3 set to see Multiverse of Nonsense released later this year, new free update out now

May 04,25

Goat Simulator's Goat Direct showcase concluded today with fewer practical jokes than fans might have expected from a series known for its irreverent humor. Instead, the event focused on a variety of new merchandise announcements, including plushies and the CRKD controller line, alongside a tease for an upcoming card game.

However, the highlight for many was the confirmation that the Goat Simulator 3 expansion pack, Multiverse of Nonsense, is set to launch on mobile devices soon. While a specific release date remains under wraps, more details are expected to be released shortly. As suggested by its name, Multiverse of Nonsense promises an adventure where players can navigate their goat avatar through a parallel universe featuring bizarre locales such as a cartoon-themed town, a city of goats, and a mythical mountaintop.

In addition to the expansion, Coffee Stain North unveiled a free update for Goat Simulator 3 in celebration of April Fool's Day and the game's 10th anniversary. This update introduces 27 new pieces of gear, two new events in San Angora, and a new goat skin inspired by the upcoming Pilgor plushie, which is slated for release later this year.

The absence of practical jokes in the Goat Direct may be seen as fitting, given the series' history of absurd additions. Introducing fake features among real announcements might have confused or frustrated fans eagerly awaiting new content for their beloved game.
