GTA V PC Release Set for March 4

After more than two years, PC players of Grand Theft Auto V can finally rejoice as a major update is set to launch on March 4. This update will bring the PC version up to speed with the native PS5 and Xbox Series versions released back in 2022. The best part? It's free for all current players, and your progress in both GTA Online and the Story Mode will seamlessly transfer without any additional steps required.

The lion's share of this upgrade focuses on GTA Online, introducing a wealth of content that was previously exclusive to console players. Moreover, the GTA+ subscription service is now making its debut on PC, offering various perks such as accelerated profit collection from in-game businesses. Rockstar Games has also enhanced the anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer gaming environment.

Alongside new content, the update will bring substantial graphical improvements. However, be aware that this will also increase the system requirements. If your hardware can't keep up with the new demands, you'll still have the option to continue playing the older version, which the developers will continue to support. Unfortunately, there won't be cross-version play, meaning you can't join friends on different versions of the game, so that's something to consider before updating.
