Building your crew is key to completing contracts in Citizen Sleeper 2. This guide details how to recruit every crew member in the game.

Recruiting is usually straightforward—accept when someone offers to join—but some cases require strong performance in contracts or events. Be aware that poor decisions or bad rolls can lead to losing crew members or missing recruitment opportunities.

How to Recruit Every Crew Member in Citizen Sleeper 2

Recruiting Serafin and Bliss

Serafin and Bliss are your first crew members. Serafin stays with the crew but isn’t available for contracts. Both are automatically recruited without any associated achievements.

Recruiting Juni

Juni joins temporarily on Hexport in Citizen Sleeper 2. After they leave, head to Helion Gate and complete the Idle Minds clock at Solheim Records to trigger a cutscene with Juni. Finish the resulting contract and agree to let Juni rejoin your crew permanently.

Recruiting Juni earns the Data Archaeologist achievement.

Recruiting Yu-Jin

Meet Yu-Jin on Far Spindle after completing the Getting Wracked clock at Gaia’s Gyre by selecting “Order a Wrack” four times, costing 16 Cryo. This leads to a conversation and a contract from Yu-Jin. Complete it to recruit him permanently.

Recruiting Yu-Jin unlocks the The Freelancer achievement.

Recruiting Luis

During the Aphelion Beacon contract, you can choose to leave Yu-Jin behind, allowing you to recruit Luis instead.

Recruiting Luis unlocks the Signalchaser achievement.

Recruiting Kadet

Encounter Kadet on Far Spindle after completing the Spindle Core clock at the Spindle Core location, unlocking the Stripline Express. Complete the new options there, then head to the Scatteryards in another part of The Belt to recruit Kadet.

Recruiting Kadet unlocks the The Spindlejack achievement.

Recruiting Femi or Nia

Femi and Nia are mutually exclusive recruits. You’ll meet Nia on Hexport and Femi on Floatsam. Femi offers a contract to ensure Nia’s safety. Complete it, then choose between recruiting Femi or Nia.

Recruiting Femi unlocks the Big Brother achievement, while recruiting Nia unlocks the Little Sister achievement.

Recruiting Flint

After visiting Olivera, you’ll get a contract to investigate Flint’s disappearance. This leads to another contract requiring quick action to set a trap. Follow Xander to rescue Flint, and upon success, you can invite Flint to join your crew.

Recruiting Flint unlocks the Fugitive achievement.
