Hearthstone Season 10: Trinkets Return to Battlegrounds!
Hearthstone enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting new chapter! Battlegrounds Season 10, dubbed "Second Nature," is set to launch on April 29th, 2025, bringing a fresh wave of changes and returning favorites to the game. As Season 9 concludes, Season 10 will kick off with a full reset of ratings and a revamped Track. Any unclaimed rewards from Season 9 will be automatically collected for you, ensuring you don't miss out on your well-earned prizes.
To build anticipation, Blizzard is rolling out the reveals over several days. On April 18th, you'll get a sneak peek at Dragons, Demons, and Mechs. Then, on April 21st, Undead and Pirates will be showcased, followed by Naga and Quilboar on April 22nd, and wrapping up with Murlocs and Beasts on April 23rd. This staggered reveal schedule keeps the excitement high as you anticipate the new season.
When Season 10 begins, Anomalies will be completely removed from the Tavern, simplifying gameplay. Additionally, turn lengths are being extended, giving you more time to strategize and make your moves effectively.
Trinkets are making a comeback, but with a twist. These passive power-ups, which you can acquire with Gold, will appear twice during each game: Lesser Trinkets on turn 6 and Greater Trinkets on turn 9. Season 10 also enhances your chances of getting Trinkets that align with your current minion type, making your gameplay more cohesive. Blizzard is introducing over 100 new Trinkets alongside more than 100 returning ones, ensuring plenty of variety and strategic depth.
Two new heroes are joining the fray: Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons. Cenarius brings his classic Druid flair, focusing on ramping up Gold and setting the stage for powerful late-game strategies. Alongside these new heroes, the minion pool will see a massive refresh with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells. This update promises to shake up the meta and offer players fresh ways to compete.
Don't forget, the Battlegrounds Track will also be reset, offering new challenges and rewards. Make sure to download Hearthstone from the Google Play Store before the season begins to jump right into the action.
