Leaked 2005 James Bond audition footage has emerged online, showcasing Henry Cavill's portrayal of 007 before Daniel Craig secured the role.

According to Games Radar, the clips were uploaded to the Ron South YouTube channel, run by a passionate filmmaker with 1,890 subscribers. The footage includes auditions by Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend, and Anthony Starr alongside Cavill.

Cavill's performance has drawn significant attention over time, with many fans and Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, who described it as "tremendous," believing he would have been an outstanding Bond.

Despite Campbell's preference for Cavill, other decision-makers favored Craig for the iconic role.

Cavill later embraced a spy role in Argylle, starring alongside Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O’Hara. Despite its impressive cast, the film received a lukewarm 4/10 from IGN.

Beyond this, Cavill continues to thrive in diverse roles, including Superman for DC, Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s The Witcher, and numerous other projects.
