"My Hero Academia: The Strongest Ends Service After 4 Years"
If you're a fan of My Hero Academia: The Strongest, you might already know that the game is nearing its end. Xin Yuan Studios recently confirmed the game's closure, bringing an end to the beloved action RPG inspired by Kohei Horikoshi’s iconic series. Initially released globally in May 2021, the game allowed players to explore the My Hero Academia universe, recruiting heroes like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki while embarking on exciting missions in an immersive open world.
Published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-Plus Japan, the game captivated fans worldwide until its inevitable shutdown.
When Is My Hero Academia: The Strongest Shutting Down?
The game’s servers will officially go offline on March 31st, 2025. As part of the wind-down process, the game was removed from Google Play and the iOS App Store on February 24th, and in-game purchases were disabled. After March 31st, the servers will close permanently, and all official social media accounts will be deleted. However, the customer support team will remain available for another 30 days to address any queries. If you purchased anything between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, you can request a refund before the servers shut down.
To celebrate its final run, the developers have prepared a special farewell gift for all active players. Everyone will receive a reward mail containing SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins. For more details, visit the game’s official website.
Why Is It Shutting Down?
It’s becoming increasingly common for gacha RPGs to face closure, and My Hero Academia: The Strongest was no exception. The game managed to survive for around four years, launching with a solid PvP system and impactful combat mechanics. However, things gradually slowed down over time. Major updates ceased after the first anniversary, and mismanagement further contributed to its decline. Despite its rocky journey, it’s commendable that the game lasted as long as it did.
