Heroes United: Fight x3 – A Surprisingly Refreshing Rip-Off?

Heroes United: Fight x3 is a straightforward 2D hero-collecting RPG. It's the kind of game we've seen countless times before; assemble a team of diverse characters, battle enemies, and conquer bosses. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, right?

Wrong. A closer look at the game's marketing reveals some… unexpected characters.

Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro – all making prominent appearances. While the game itself is unremarkable, its brazen use of unlicensed characters is undeniably entertaining. It's a charmingly blatant rip-off, a nostalgic throwback to a time when such blatant copyright infringements were more common.

The audacity is almost endearing. It's a stark contrast to the many genuinely well-crafted mobile games currently available. This unexpected burst of shameless imitation is, in a strange way, a welcome change of pace.

Instead of dwelling on Fight x3, let's celebrate some truly excellent new mobile game releases. Check out our latest list of top five new mobile games, or dive into Stephen's review of Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago – a game boasting superior gameplay and a much catchier title.
