HoYoVerse is making a big splash with back-to-back announcements! Following the preview of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6, details for Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.8 have been revealed.

Planetary Rewind: Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8

Launching October 17th, version 7.8 introduces new battlesuits, events, and a wealth of rewards. Leading the charge is Vita's new battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer – a MECH-type Lightning DMG dealer.

Lone Planetfarer boasts a striking peacock feather-adorned Drive Core and two distinct forms. As Lone Traveler, she utilizes her feathered loop for graceful attacks. Activating her Ultimate transforms her into Planet Quaker, unleashing devastating laser beams. She's also protected by Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion. The Divine Key Waxing Moon and its PRI-ARM, Divine Key Waxing Moon: Incipience, are also making their debut.

Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8 Storyline: The First and Last War

The main story, "The First and Last War," transports players back a century to Langqiu during the Ten Shus War. Vita, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie are central figures in this chapter, which offers rewards including Crystals, Source Prisms, Seele's event stigma, and Dreamweaver's new outfit.

Returning favorites include HOHO Vacation Tickets, and Elysian Realm now permanently features LITE Combat. A special celebratory event begins October 11th, offering free Equipment Supply Cards and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupons upon login.
