Honkai: Star Rail is gearing up for its exciting Version 3.2 update, titled 'Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,' set to launch on April 9th. This new chapter promises to enrich the game with fresh lore, thrilling battles, and the introduction of new characters. Additionally, HoYoVerse is preparing to celebrate the game's two-year anniversary with a host of special events and generous giveaways.

What’s in Store in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2?

Version 3.2 introduces two new 5-star characters: Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice, known as a Chrysos Heir, carries the burden of the Touch of Death and is on a quest to find the lost Coreflame of Death. She wields the Netherwing and comes with a tragic backstory that adds depth to her character. On the other hand, Anaxa, one of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany, brings a scholarly approach to the team. His experiences have reshaped his view on reality, and his Ultimate, Sublimation, can impose seven Weaknesses on all enemies simultaneously, making him a formidable ally.

Returning characters will also grace the banners. In the first half of Version 3.2, you'll see reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron. If you missed out on Dr. Ratio previously, he'll be available in the second half of the update. HoYoVerse has also teased upcoming balance changes in Version 3.4 for Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu, although specifics are yet to be revealed. The Story This Time Is Heading to Styxia.

The narrative in Version 3.2 takes players to Styxia, a forgotten city submerged beneath the Sea of Souls. This haunting locale, filled with dragon bones and spirits, sets the stage for an intriguing adventure. Players will guide Castorice through this eerie environment, uncovering the secrets of the Titans and the catastrophic draconic event that led to the city's ruin.

As part of the two-year anniversary celebrations, HoYoVerse is offering 20 free pulls just for logging in. On the anniversary day, April 26th, players will receive 1,600 Stellar Jades and a special in-game card from a companion. Moreover, players will have the opportunity to choose a free 5-star character between Ruan Mei or Luocha.
