NetEase’s post-apocalyptic shooter, Once Human, is launching its first cross-play test, offering a sneak peek at its cross-progression features before its April mobile release. This closed beta confirms seamless transitions between devices.

Following the recent success of Marvel Rivals, NetEase’s Once Human (initially released on PC) is finally making its way to mobile. The game plunges players into a supernatural apocalypse, where scattered humanity must unite, rebuild, and confront monstrous threats. Even fellow survivors might pose a challenge in this harsh new world.

The highly anticipated Once Human, with its stunning visuals and horror-infused run-and-gun gameplay, has already undergone several beta tests. However, this cross-progression test is a significant addition, allowing players to seamlessly switch between devices. This is likely the last opportunity for hands-on experience before the April launch.

More Human Than Human

The test runs until March 30th, with sign-ups still open. While Once Human might not have captured a massive PC audience compared to NetEase's Marvel Rivals, its stylish shooter mechanics seem perfectly suited for mobile players. The upcoming mobile release is excellent news for those eager to play.
