Beloved Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, is critically ill. His family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his mounting medical expenses and living costs during his recovery.

According to a PC Gamer report, Johnson was found unconscious and barely alive in his hotel room after failing to appear at a charity event. His wife, Kim, raised the alarm when he didn't arrive for a National Alzheimer’s Foundation benefit in Atlanta on January 22nd. Hotel security found him unresponsive, and paramedics had difficulty detecting a pulse.

Beyond his extensive video game voice acting career, Johnson is also a long-time public address announcer for the Washington Capitals hockey team and has worked in film and television.

His extensive Bethesda credits include Ron Hope in Starfield, Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in Oblivion, three Daedric Princes in Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many other roles. The gaming community is rallying around Johnson and his family during this difficult time.
