Elba, who will reprise his role as Knuckles the Echidna and join Keanu Reeves, who will portray Shadow the Hedgehog, expressed his excitement about the potential of bringing Night City to life on screen.

When asked about collaborating with Keanu Reeves again, Elba responded enthusiastically, "Oh, man, that's a great question. I think if any film could do a live-action rendition, it could be [Cyberpunk 2077], and I think his character and my character together would be, ‘Whoa.’ So, let's speak that into existence."
