While World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary event has concluded, exciting activities continue! The Turbulent Timeways event, previously featured during Dragonflight, returns, offering a unique reward for dedicated players.

Turbulent Timeways Event Details

Unlike typical, more spaced-out Timewalking events, Turbulent Timeways features five consecutive weeks of Timewalking dungeons (January 1st to February 25th). Each week highlights dungeons from a different expansion:

• Week 1: Mists of Pandaria (January 7th-14th)
• Week 2: Warlords of Draenor (January 14th-21st)
• Week 3: Legion (January 21st-28th)
• Week 4: Classic (January 28th-February 4th)
• Week 5: The Burning Crusade (February 4th-11th)
• Week 6: Wrath of the Lich King (February 11th-18th)
• Week 7: Cataclysm (February 18th-25th)

Completing a Timewalking dungeon grants a "Knowledge of Timeways" buff (two-hour duration, persistent through death), providing a 5% experience bonus. Four stacks of this buff upgrade to "Mastery of Timeways" (three-hour duration, persistent through death), boosting experience gains by 30%. Completing another Timewalking dungeon refreshes the buff timer. Maintaining four stacks of Knowledge of Timeways is key to obtaining Mastery of Timeways. Avoid extended AFK periods to prevent buff expiration.

Turbulent Timeways Rewards

Beyond leveling benefits, this event offers rewards. The Sandy Shalewing mount, a previous Turbulent Timeways reward, is purchasable from Timewalking vendors for 5,000 Timewarped Badges.

A new mount, the Timely Buzzbee, awaits players who achieve the Mastery of Timeways buff during five of the seven event weeks.
