Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title

Revealed at Sony's State of Play 2025, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player action-adventure game promising a gripping narrative and intense combat. Developed by the Chengdu-based studio Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), the game features a unique blend of Arthurian mythology and a modern-day London ravaged by otherworldly forces.

Players take on the role of Gwendolyn, navigating a transformed London and battling enemies inspired by Arthurian legends. The gameplay includes summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table for assistance in combat and facing colossal skyscraper-sized bosses.

Eclipse Glow Games, a team of over 100 developers with experience on titles such as Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia, is excited about the game's debut. Lead Game Producer Kun Fu stated, "Debuting Tides of Annihilation at Sony State of Play is an incredible achievement. We've created a world that reimagines Arthurian legend, blending courage, loyalty, and heroism within an epic story set in a familiar yet strange London."

Tides of Annihilation plunges players into a distorted version of modern London, invaded by otherworldly forces. As Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, players embark on a quest through iconic London locations to solve a mystery that threatens reality itself. Expect intense battles alongside spectral knights, formidable enemies, and epic boss encounters across massive, vertically-challenging environments.
