inZOI Revealed System Requirements for the Game

RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement

Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has unveiled that the game requires elevated system specs for players to enjoy the best possible experience. On March 12, 2025, they released the system requirements and optimal settings for inZOI on their website, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High, alongside the optimal settings for each.

At the minimum level, inZOI necessitates an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX5600 for graphics, paired with an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This is a significant step up from EA’s Sims 4 PC requirements, which only demand an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton explained, "inZOI offers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, necessitating higher system specifications to run smoothly."

For the recommended settings, players need an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics and an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 CPU. The highest settings require a graphics card such as an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900, along with a CPU like an Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

This isn't surprising given the game's trailers, which showcase inZOI's push of Unreal Engine 5's capabilities. While developers have mentioned plans to bring the game to PS5 and Xbox on inZOI’s official Discord, it appears that optimization for consoles will be necessary, considering the game's demanding PC specs.

Graphics Comparison by System Specs

Krafton has provided a video that compares the graphics across the system specs they've outlined. The video highlights differences in lighting, textures, color, and more, with the highest PC specs delivering the best visual experience.

Despite these options, inZOI might not immediately attract the broad player base that its genre rivals, like The Sims 4, have achieved due to the high entry-level specs required. However, Krafton remains committed to broadening accessibility, stating, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we are dedicated to making inZOI accessible to more players." They added, "We plan to introduce a feature that automatically adjusts game settings to optimize performance." Krafton also promised to "continue working on optimizations to enhance performance while exploring ways to reduce system requirements without sacrificing quality."

inZOI will feature a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on its official YouTube and Twitch channels. This event will cover early access pricing, DLC, the developmental roadmap, and answer fan questions.
