Netmarble's popular fighting game, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is set to conclude its run later this year. The official announcement on the Netmarble forums confirmed the game's closure on October 30th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been disabled, ceasing on June 26th, 2024.

The reasons behind this closure remain somewhat unclear. While the developers hinted at a potential shortage of characters to adapt from the extensive King of Fighters roster, other factors likely contributed to the decision. Recent optimization issues and game crashes may also have played a role.

Despite these challenges, King of Fighters ALLSTAR enjoyed considerable success, boasting millions of downloads across the Google Play Store and App Store. Players frequently praised the game's high-quality animations and engaging PvP battles.
