The game's recent attention stems from "agenda-driven" activists, including Grummz, who publicized the game's ban in Saudi Arabia. This fueled speculation about controversial content and "progressive" themes within the game.

Developers faced online attacks, with calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage support for the studio.

Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, addressed these rumors, urging the public to trust the developers and not believe everything online.

Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes would be distributed in the coming days, following the game's "gold" status achievement in early December. These codes are expected four weeks prior to release, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time for preparation.

Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on review copies, are anticipated a week after the code distribution.
