Exciting news for fans of the souls-like action RPG Lies of P! A new prequel titled Lies of P: Overture was unveiled during Sony's State of Play 2025 broadcast. Set to launch in summer 2025, this DLC expansion will be available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. You can get a glimpse of what's in store by watching the gameplay trailer below.

Lies of P, which reimagines the classic tale of Pinocchio with a Bloodborne-inspired twist, has been well-received by gamers and critics alike. IGN's review of the original game awarded it an impressive 8/10, praising its adherence to the soulslike genre while delivering a unique experience: "Lies of P might not branch out particularly far from its soulslike inspiration, but it plays the part extremely well."

Publisher Neowiz had previously teased the game's first DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. Lies of P achieved significant success, selling one million copies within a month of its launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC via Steam, and Mac via the Mac App Store on September 18, 2023.
