Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Launches, Created by Life is Strange Team
The acclaimed French studio Don't Nod, known for their work on *Life is Strange*, has unveiled the first chapter of their latest narrative-driven adventure. Players can now immerse themselves in *Tape 1*, with *Tape 2* set to be available for free to all purchasers starting April 15.
Announced in 2023, this game delves into the mysterious events that unraveled a tight-knit group of friends during the summer of 1995. Fast forward 27 years, and the echoes of that fateful summer resurface, bringing with them harrowing repercussions that none of the characters could have anticipated.
Inspired by classics like *It*, *Yellowjackets*, and *I Know What You Did Last Summer*, the game seamlessly weaves together elements of nostalgia and psychological thriller. Don't Nod has structured the game into two distinct parts: *Bloom* and *Rage*. As of today, February 18, only the first segment, *Bloom*, is accessible to players.
The eagerly anticipated second part, dubbed *The Tape*, is scheduled for release on April 15. Originally planned for a March debut, the delay aims to deliver a more refined and immersive experience.
With the review embargo now lifted, *OpenCritic* reports an impressive average critic score of 74/100, indicating a promising beginning for this enigmatic tale.
