World of Warships Legends rings in the Lunar New Year with a Sun Wukong-themed event! Wargaming's naval battle simulator adds the legendary Monkey King and more to its high-seas action. Exclusive rewards are available now on iOS and Android.

Following the recent Sky: Children of the Light Lunar New Year event, January's gaming scene is heating up with festive celebrations. World of Warships Legends joins the party with its Sun Wukong event, featuring the iconic character from the classic novel Journey to the West.

This update includes a campaign for the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie, but the main attraction is Sun Wukong. He'll be available as a commander for all nations, alongside his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser, the Wukong, and numerous skins based on characters from Journey to the West.

Returning Lunar New Year Festivities

The event isn't limited to new content. World of Warships Legends is bringing back previous Lunar New Year items! This includes the Celestial Guardian commander, daily bonuses, and ornate skins for various Pan-Asian and Japanese ships. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates in the in-game store offering rewards, including the exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
