The highly anticipated manga adaptation of Atlus' Metaphor: ReFantazio has arrived! The first chapter is now available to read for free on MANGA Plus.

Experience Will's Journey in Manga Form

Atlus, in collaboration with Shueisha, presents this official manga adaptation illustrated by Yōichi Amano (known for Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden and Stealth Symphony). While faithful to the spirit of the game, the manga takes creative liberties, altering the initial storyline. Key differences include a revised opening sequence, new events not present in the game, and restructured encounters with allies. Importantly, the manga confirms the protagonist's name as Will, aligning with the game's default option.

The next chapter is scheduled for release on February 19th, simultaneously with the Japanese version.

Developed by Studio Zero, led by Katsura Hashino (the mind behind the Persona series), Metaphor: ReFantazio follows Will and his fairy companion, Gallica, as they embark on a quest to save the prince of Euchronia. The king's assassination plunges the kingdom into turmoil, leading to a unique succession plan: a leader chosen by the people. Will finds himself thrust into this extraordinary situation.

The game achieved phenomenal success, selling over one million copies globally on its launch day, surpassing even Persona 3: Reload in sales speed. Critical acclaim followed, earning numerous awards, including Best RPG, Best Art Direction, and Best Narrative at the 2024 Game Awards.
