Marvel Rivals Welcomes New Characters on February 21, 2025

In a blog post dated February 11, 2025, NetEase announced the most significant updates for the upcoming second half of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. The highlights include the debut of Human Torch and The Thing, coupled with a full rank reset.

The Fantastic Four will be fully assembled in Marvel Rivals on February 21, 2025, with the introduction of Human Torch (Duelist) and The Thing (Vanguard). NetEase also plans extensive balance adjustments, which are expected to significantly impact the meta during this phase of the season. Several existing heroes will receive buffs or nerfs in response to the new arrivals, though specific details remain undisclosed.

Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman joined the roster earlier in Season 1's first half as a Duelist and Strategist, respectively. The inaugural season has also introduced three new maps, special limited-time events, and a fresh game mode called Doom Match.
