Guide to Playing Demon's Hand Card Game in League of Legends
League of Legends has launched a new minigame within its client, available through April's end. If you're familiar with Balatro, you'll quickly grasp the mechanics of the Demon's Hand card game in League of Legends.
Setting Up and Starting Demon's Hand in League of Legends
Ensure your League client is updated to the latest version. Then, click the Play button, navigate to the game mode menu, and select Demon's Hand. This triggers an introductory story for the mode, leading you into your first card game round.

Your hand appears as the bottom row of cards on the screen. In the bottom right, you'll see your health, coins, and crit chance percentage. Above that is your Sigil box, which can hold up to six active Sigils, starting with none. Health doesn't regenerate after battles, so visit tent locations on the map to restore a portion of your health when possible.
The enemy card is displayed at the top, with its health in the bottom right and damage in the bottom left. To the left of the enemy card is an attack coin, indicating how many hands you can play before the enemy strikes. On the screen's left edge, a book lists all playable attack hands and their base damage in a standard round.
How to Master Demon's Hand in League of Legends

Deal damage by playing poker-style hands, each with unique names in Demon's Hand but rooted in familiar poker mechanics. The most powerful hand, The Demon's Hand, is a royal flush. Below is a list of playable hands and their poker equivalents.
Solo = High Card (10 Base Damage) Dyad = Pair (20 Base Damage) Dyad Set = Two Pair (40 Base Damage) Triad = Three of a Kind (80 Base Damage) Tetrad = Four of a Kind (100 Base Damage) March = Straight (125 Base Damage) Horde = Flush (175 Base Damage) Grand Warhost = Full House (400 Base Damage) Marching Horde = Straight Flush (600 Base Damage) The Demon's Hand = Royal Flush (2000 Base Damage)
Beyond base damage, each card's numerical value adds to the total damage. If an enemy has a special ability that negates a specific suit, those cards are marked with a cross, and their numerical value won't contribute to the damage, though they can still be played.

Enhancing Attacks with Sigils
Sigils, acquired during store phases marked by coins on the map, are purchased with coins earned from defeating enemies. Each Sigil offers unique abilities, visible when hovering over them in the store or during a round. Some boost specific hands, like increasing Dyad damage, while others extend turns between enemy attacks or reduce incoming damage.
This guide covers the essentials of playing Demon's Hand in League of Legends. If this minigame isn't your style, explore the upcoming April Fools skins for new content in Summoner's Rift.
