Microsoft has recently announced an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles scheduled to join the service in the first half of April 2025. This impressive roster includes both first-party and third-party games, such as South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, among others.

According to a recent post on Xbox Wire, the month kicks off strong starting tomorrow, April 3, with the addition of Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, available on Cloud, Console, and PC across all tiers. Joining it on the same day are All You Need Is Help for Console, Still Wakes the Deep for Xbox Series X|S, and Wargroove 2 for Console, all accessible through Game Pass Standard. This initial wave promises a diverse range of gaming experiences to keep Xbox enthusiasts engaged throughout the month. However, fans will need to mark their calendars, as the next major releases, South of Midnight for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition for Console and PC, will be available starting April 8.

South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is set to be one of Xbox's most anticipated releases of the year. This Deep South folklore adventure invites players to explore its rich mythos and confront mysterious creatures. Microsoft describes it as a "modern folktale" where players will learn to harness an ancient power to overcome challenges and address the lingering pain in their hometown.

Following closely, on April 9, Commandos: Origins will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. The next day, April 10, will see the addition of Blue Prince to the same tiers and platforms. Rounding out the first wave of April's releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 will join Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on PC on April 15.

In addition to new titles, Xbox Game Pass perks are set to be refreshed during the first half of April 2025. Notable perks include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and the anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves players.
