The Jingle Joy Christmas event in Monopoly GO, running from December 5th, 2024, to January 16th, 2025, is concluding. Players have been busy collecting festive stickers, participating in events, and earning holiday-themed rewards. Many players now have duplicate stickers. These duplicates are converted into Stars, which can be used for various in-game benefits. This guide explains what happens to leftover Stars.

What Happens to Excess Stars After the Jingle Joy Album?

Upon the Jingle Joy album's conclusion, all sticker sets and the "Stickers for Rewards" section will reset. Any unused Stars will be automatically converted into dice rolls. The conversion rate is capped at 700+ Stars for 750 dice. Stars exceeding this limit are forfeited. Therefore, it's crucial to utilize your Stars before the reset.

The "Stickers for Rewards" menu offers three vaults:

Vault Star Cost Rewards Orange Vault 250 Stars 200 Dice + Pink Sticker Pack Blue Vault 450 Stars 350 Dice + Pink and Blue Sticker Packs Gold Vault 700 Stars 500 Dice + Blue and Purple Sticker Packs + Swap Pack

To maximize your rewards, strategically spend your extra Stars on vaults before the reset. However, remember to retain at least 700 Stars to benefit from the 750 dice conversion bonus at the start of the next album.

Strategies for Acquiring More Stars in Monopoly GO

Duplicate stickers are converted into Stars. The Star yield varies based on sticker rarity; rarer stickers (like Gold stickers) provide significantly more Stars. Gold stickers generally yield double the Stars of common stickers.

Avoid opening vaults unnecessarily. Awaiting "Sticker Boom" events allows for optimized reward acquisition. Plan your vault openings strategically to maximize your Star usage.
