Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Is Landing Soon!
Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises exciting new content. Before the season even begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra starting February 28th, making its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.
Weapon balancing is a key focus, aiming to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its ability to target breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward precise timing with stronger attacks, creating more satisfying combos. The Guard skill is also receiving a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further balance adjustments will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.
Beyond combat enhancements, Season 5 addresses inventory management woes. An Item Box Expansion, available as a Supply Item, will provide an extra 250 inventory slots.
A new feature celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary arrives March 17th: a material exchange system. Hunters can trade special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
