Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Has a Release Date and Loads More Details, Title Update 2 Set for Summer 2025
Capcom has unveiled that Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 1 will be released on Thursday, April 3, Pacific Time, and April 4, UK time. In their latest showcase video, Capcom not only confirmed the release date but also detailed what players can look forward to in the game's first major post-launch update.
The spotlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social space where players can engage in unique interactions. Here, you can enjoy a new mini-game, Barrel Bowling, and catch nightly performances by the Diva.
The update also introduces Mizutsune, a leviathan monster known for its hazardous bubbles, alongside a Zoh Shia quest. Additionally, an event quest will later introduce the formidable Arch-tempered Rey Dau.
Competitive players can dive into Arena Quests, where they can vie for the fastest completion times. Title Update 1 brings free content for all players, including classic gestures from the series. Alongside this, Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will be available, adding new aesthetic options to the game.
Capcom teased future content, announcing a collaboration with an undisclosed Capcom game set for the end of May. The summer will see the release of a second title update, which will introduce a new monster to the world of Monster Hunter Wilds.
Despite the anticipation from PC gamers for news on performance enhancements, the showcase did not address any improvements for the PC version, which had received feedback during its launch.
The latest installment in Capcom's renowned monster-fighting series has seen significant success with its launch, and with Title Update 1, the company is setting the pace for its ongoing development.
